Dr. Brett Earnest is a board-certified Primary Care Physician who has been caring for families in the New Braunfels community since 2012. He earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed his residency at The University of Colorado with training in women’s health and obstetrics. Dr. Earnest went on to receive his Family Medicine Obstetrics Fellowship through UT Southwestern in Austin. Dr. Earnest aims to deliver effective, efficient, and personalized care that acknowledges each patient as an individual. He enjoys caring for the whole family, from newborns to senior care.

Eli Ortiz, MD, recently completed his family medicine residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. With a degree in medicine from the UT Health San Antonio School of Medicine and a degree in mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Ortiz brings a diverse skill set to his medical practice and is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr. Ortiz will care for patients in the Palm Building at 411 S. King Street in Seguin and can be reached at 830.484.4200.

Dr. Esther Robbins completed her residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and was a faculty physician with the Department of Family and Community Medicine for three years. While in Lubbock, she practiced full-spectrum family medicine while training residents and medical students. Her goal is to empower her patients to take control of their own health while providing comprehensive family care, including pediatric, adult, gynecologic, and geriatric care. Dr. Robbins and her family enjoy being active members of Seguin.​

Dr. Frank Wright was born and raised in Laredo where he began his career as a family physician caring for patients of all ages. He is very familiar with Central Texas as well, having obtained his undergraduate degree at Texas State University and completed medical training at University of  Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. His desire to integrate into a collegiate, well connected medical community and to rededicate himself to long term primary care relationships with his patients has led Dr. Wright to find his professional home in Seguin. Dr. Wright specializes in comprehensive family care including adult, gynecologic and geriatric care, as well as occupational medicine. In addition to the wealth of medical expertise Dr. Wright also speaks Spanish fluently.

Dr. Lance Montgomery completed his medical training at the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by residencies at acclaimed clinical and training healthcare facility John Peter Smith in Forth Worth, Texas. Originally from Gonzales, Dr. Montgomery and his wife look forward to coming back to the Seguin area to establish roots and serve the community.

Holly Batterton, FNP, brings nearly a decade of diverse healthcare experience to Guadalupe Regional Medical Group. Beginning as a Registered Nurse she specialized in post-cardiovascular and ICU patient care, eventually transitioning to emergency care at a Level I cardiovascular and stroke center. Most recently, Holly thrived in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center as a primary trauma nurse. Notably, Holly was praised for her contributions to patient safety, earning the highest merits for her commitment to excellence with three Daisy Award nominations.

Holly’s exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills have consistently enhanced team dynamics, leading to outstanding patient care. Holly continues to elevate healthcare standards, ensuring every patient receives optimal care.

Gretchen, a native of Remington, Indiana, relocated to New Braunfels in the spring of 2021 with her family. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University and gained five years of experience as a Registered Nurse in both hospital and clinic settings. Pursuing further education, Gretchen obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women and became board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2011. Throughout her career, she has accumulated diverse experience in pediatrics, plastic surgery, student health, and family medicine, due to various relocations with her husband’s career in the United States Air Force. Gretchen is excited for the opportunity to be a part of the GRMG family and looks forward to meeting and caring for the community!

Carolyn Noyes, DNP, FNP-C, is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts after working as a registered nurse for almost 8 years. Carolyn has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings including cardiology, corrections, forensics, and pediatrics. She grew up in the Northeast and has also lived in Central America (Nicaragua) where she became fluent in Spanish. In her spare time she loves to scuba dive, hike, and play with her fluffy dog.

Abby Steck, MSN, FNP-C, is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner for GRMG Primary Care Associates. Abby received her Bachelor of Nursing and Masters of Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her clinical background includes over 7 years of nursing experience in emergency medicine and the intensive care unit (ICU). Abby is dedicated to providing primary care with her knowledge and skills gained through experience in emergency and intensive care settings. Her goal is to deliver compassionate care by committing to the community of Seguin and surrounding areas through preventative care and health education.
