Mitchell Myers, MD is a dedicated board-certified orthopedic surgeon, originally from Waco, Texas. He completed his undergraduate studies at Baylor University before pursuing his medical degree in Houston. Dr. Myers further specialized with a rigorous five-year residency in orthopedic surgery in Shreveport, Louisiana.
His journey into orthopedics began with a personal experience of a sports injury during high school, which led him to shadow a family friend and orthopedic surgeon. This early exposure sparked his passion for the field and set him on the path to becoming a surgeon himself.
In his practice, Dr. Myers finds fulfillment in helping patients regain their functionality and quality of life. He takes a patient-centered approach, ensuring open communication and personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. Whether through surgical intervention or non-operative methods, Dr. Myers strives to provide clear explanations and comprehensive care that empower patients to make informed decisions about their health.

Dr. G. Steven White, former CMO at GRMC, makes it a high priority to serve the needs of GRMC patients and medical staff. He has practiced at GRMC since 1984. Dr. White is also active with many professional associations such as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, Texas Orthopedic Association and the Guadalupe County Medical Society.
